About
Studio Roca is a computational design practice founded by Noam Beaudoin de Roca. We work at the intersection of architecture and product design, using parametric tools to explore form, structure, and material with precision.
Every project begins with a set of parameters — constraints that become the creative engine. The result is work that is rigorous, responsive, and never arbitrary.
Services
From concept to construction documentation. We design buildings, pavilions, and spatial installations using computational methods that generate form from environmental, structural, and programmatic data.
Objects that carry the logic of their making. Furniture, lighting, and objects developed through digital fabrication workflows — CNC, 3D printing, and bespoke joinery — with parametric precision.
We help architecture and design firms integrate parametric and computational tools into their practice — Grasshopper, Rhino, scripting workflows, and custom plugin development.
Experimental projects that push the boundaries of form, material, and process. We collaborate with institutions, manufacturers, and researchers on speculative and applied design investigations.
Process
We start by understanding the constraints — site, budget, material, program. These become the inputs that drive the design system.
Using computational tools we rapidly explore a wide solution space — producing variations that would be impossible to develop by hand.
Together we select the most promising directions and develop them into resolved proposals with full technical documentation.
From fabrication files to site supervision, we see every project through to a built outcome — with the same rigor as the design phase.
